It's a going to happen!

    " It's a going to happen!"  a True-ism
       
     For those of us raised in Dixie; this was a word of warning about changing your current actions or some certain future event would come about to make you wish you had!  The term was often used in context with some course of action that the ones being warned would recognize and hopefull be smart enough to change!

     Like when you elders said to do something or other the followed up with "It's a going to happen (usually addressed  either youngman or younglady!)"  We knew to pay strict attention as this had a serious impact on our life!

    There would be times in Church when the preacher would end a phrase with " It's a going to happen!" and you had best listen up real good!  It would cause some people to squirm in their seats and maybe even get up and run out of the church! This was usually because it was true and really meant that some folks had some straighting out to do in their lives...

    The same thing was true in school, when the teacher would give us that warning phrase...  We knew to expect something to come about...  We knew that we had to change our present course of action or there would be unpleasant consequences to follow!
 
   It too bad that we do not seem to have any reference or point of view for that type of warning today in our society...   Everyone now appear to sit back and wait for either the Government or Science or Alien Technology to just appear in a nic of time to save us, and there will not be any consequences!

  Boy have they got that wrong, because "It's a going to happen!"
