One of the most important characteristics of the Western Civilization over the past two (2) centuries has been the uninterrupted growth of sentimentalism...  Then with Rationalism combined with an ever stronger dose of self pity before the Hard Conditions of existence; fear and suffering are stigmatized as hostile forces creating obstacles toward the so called "Happiness" of mankind!

So instead of having aspirations for the establishment of an reasonable order determining human relations on both the social and political scale, there are substituted ideas which has the principle incentive of an "internal enemy."  Thus the wave of secularization always flows in two great currents of sentimentalism and rationalism, with the former assuming even greater amplitude...

Therefore marked by both self-pity and conceit, modern secularized man goes on his merry way! Believing that in his march, he has at his disposal a moral justification based on his "Good Intentions!"

Who, in the final analysis, can determine which action are "good?"

The response in the Kingdom of Man has been only this: it determined by mankind themselves...

This is what many have come to think, yet it is not so!   More on this matter in future blog!
