Some good advice for everyone!
REAL HELP FOR YOUR SINUS' from Dr. Tumbarello
Sinus conditions are common is this part of the country. Chronic and acute sinus matters effect your mood and disposition, will depress you as they are often accompanied with headaches, cough, dizziness and pressure. Complications can lead to infections, (Sinusitis), bronchitis and asthma and pneumonia. At a certain point medical management may be necessary.
Fortunately we have several effective options that help. The first thing is the spinal adjustment. Sinus issues are often due to subluxations in the spine leading to a lowered resistance, environmental, digestive or allergy influences. An adjustment is the best way to quickly improve overall body response so systems get on board and drain.
Over the years I have also learned techniques to radically reduce pressure in the head.
“ I will never forget Willie S. He could not bend his head forward without severe sinus pain. In about 30 seconds after this simple procedure he bent down to the floor, smiled and out loud gave me it’s a miracle!”. Pretty cool.
Also I use frequency based electro micro stimulation. This can pull a sinus pressure headache away while assisting in the restoration of health to the local cells.
But until you can get in the following will be of great benefit as I often include these measures with the adjustment:
* Tap one half inch away from your nasal openings for about 15 seconds both sides simultaneously. This releases the neck flexors muscles that become tight and prohibit drainage. .
* Apply moderate pressure at the base / side of the nasal openings pushing in and tugging out as to stop the flow of air and let in the flow of air.
* Rub the back of the neck just under the skull. (Stimulates lymphatic drainage) and under the collar bones.
* Tap simultaneously along the neck below the ears as you flex and extend you head. This improves blood and lymphatic drainage to additional muscles supporting your head. Also* Tap the brow between the eyebrows. This helps release of congestion along the SCM – the large muscles on the left and right of the neck where much drainage occurs.
NUTRITIONAL: Avoid mucous forming foods … especially dairy and cheeses, and histamine producing foods such as tomatoes and strawberries, and (for many that includes wheat). Digestion issues are frequently found with sinus. Therefore iliocoecal and gastrointestinal valve syndromes must be identified and corrected for proper utilization and elimination. Citris fruits high in vitamin C are great. NEVER DO A FLUSH recommended from any “ professional ” or health food store salesperson before these valves are checked. Without competent valves intestinal materials may leak back causing inflammation, pain and further complications.
Keep the kidney’s clear by consuming water, natural tea’s, asparagus and red beets. As the kidney’s balance the PH of the body, but under stress the lungs pick up the slack and produce mucous. So keep the kidneys flushing. Chicken soup with garlic, onion and or curry stimulates immunity. Hot shower, hot towel (never ice) can soothe. Zinc throat drops will minimize throat tissue irritation.
Zypan from Standard Process with meals will stimulate digestion, encourage absorption and breakdown of nutrients and Gastro fiber from Standard Process for bowel movements 1 to 3 times a day is standard.
